Building web and mobile products

I turn curious ideas into useful products.

I'm Jesse Wisdom, a frontend and mobile developer in Nigeria. I build thoughtful interfaces, founder-led products, and experiments where technology meets visual storytelling.

A builder's origin story

Curiosity came first. The tools followed.

My brother and I started by asking how the tiny Java games on an old Samsung phone were made. That question quietly shaped everything that came after.

We learned drawing, scripting, programming, Blender, and storytelling while trying to make our own RPGs. GameMaker Studio led to GML, then RPG Maker VX Ace and MV. Our dad backed that curiosity by buying the software licences we needed.

In 2019 we released Legends: The First Prophecy. It earned $13, our first online sale. I later built Turbo Winds with Godot and made my first mobile advertising revenue. Small numbers, important proof.

Web development became the next frontier. Maisy Leigh's work personally encouraged me to stop treating unfamiliar tools as walls. I moved into React, Next.js, Node, TypeScript, Tailwind, MongoDB, and AI as another practical tool in the creative process.

The RevenueCat Shipyard: Creator Contest finally gave me a reason to immerse myself in mobile development. That challenge became Habpic, and another chapter of learning by building.
